People have thought of many ways to return the nose pigment 
to black.   The recommendations vary in seriousness.
Some owners change the food bowls to stainless steel, 
others recommend either amino acid tablets or kelp as
a way of encouraging the black pigment.  And then, there
are those from the black "Sharpie" marker and 
spray paint school!

SASHA
of the pink nose and permanent smile 
belongs to  proud owner Vanessa 
Lobo from Toronto.  Her nose has 
darkened a bit for the summer,
but goes absolutely pink during 
the cold winters.  In keeping with 
lab tradition, she is full of life and
loves to swim in the lake and 
rough-house with her Basenji '
