MOOSE
This is one of my many faces,
My big Pink Nose has been in many places
Mom just hoped my Nose would turn Pink,
Well as for Dad, he was looking for some Black ink.

Even though my snout is Pink as a rose,
Mom and Dad like to kiss me on the Nose.
I know how to wake them with my big rosey snout,
and they DO get up yelling, MOOSE ...please get out.

 I've heard all the rumors why my Nose is so pink ,
I don't think I look so bad.  What do YOU think ?
God made me this way, that's just how I am,
Dad still says........my Nose looks like Spam.

I know I'm no poet, that's not what this poems about,
It's all about my Big rosey Snout. 
Come Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall ,
My parents DO LOVE me , Pink Nose and all.

DAISY
 is a pound puppy, a Lab/Beagle 
mix.  She was a Christmas 
present when Mom cried too hard 
over the picture of the "poor little 
homeless babies" in the paper's 
adopt-a-pet story.  She survived 
parvo and has had a cruciate 
ligament replaced, sleeps on the 
bed, is most loyal and affectionate, 
and despises squirrels.
